Showroom Manager Vacancy

We have an exciting career opportunity for a Showroom Manager available in our upmarket showroom in Umhlanga, KZN.

Ultimately, a fantastic Showroom Manager will be well-spoken, confident and persuasive and able to build rapport making sure the showroom attracts clients, decorators and designers and encourages them to buy - to set and smash our targets!

Duties & Responsibilities

Here’s what you can expect to be doing in the role:

  • Showroom managers juggle sales and managerial responsibilities to help their team exceed sales goals daily.
  • You will be asked to lead from the front and show employees how to drive sales, mentoring all employees on how to be a better salesperson.
  • You have to be a good communicator, keeping all employees under the showroom manager on the same page, which keeps customers happy and the sales floor looking good.
  • Part of your role is to assigns the showroom consultants duties and monitor their progress throughout the day to put them in a position to succeed.
  • Most important, you have to managing the showroom to provide a high level of client experience and maximize profit.

Desired Experience & Qualification

A little about who you are:

  • Diploma/ Degree in relevant field
  • Proven track record (at least 3 - 5 years’ experience in the retail decor field)
  • Highly professional with a creative flair
  • Strong people management skills (a minimum of 3 years)
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Highly organized and good attention to detail
  • Finance savvy with high level of communication, problem solving & business acumen
  • Strong sales focus and target driven
