In addition to cleaning, Kitchen Assistants may also be responsible for basic food preparation. This could include chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, or assembling items for dishes. Depending on the size of the kitchen, Kitchen Assistants may also be responsible for inventory management, ensuring that all supplies and ingredients are well-stocked and easily accessible.
Another important aspect of the Kitchen Assistant role is assisting other members of the culinary team during service.
